Iron Man 3 (review)

Different from any previous superhero movie, Iron Man 3 is essentially a high-tech detective story that has Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) investigating a series of attacks that link to his past, leading him to go face-to-face with The Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley), the leader of a terrorist group known as The Ten Rings.
It’s impressive to watch Downey Jr. hop back into the character, who is very much a changed man in Iron Man 3, affected by the alien invasion and destruction featured at the end of The Avengers. Everything we love about Tony Stark is back. It should be a must-see movie with full of action and high-tech fights.

Memoirs of Geisha

The story is about a child named Chiyo Sakamoto, which is sold by her parents to be a slave. The family that bought her was a geisha house and so cruel to her that Chiyo shall be their slave forever. However, several years later, Mameha, one of the successful geisha in kyoto, take Chiyo from the slavery. Under the care of Mameha, Chiyo learn to be a geisha and take the name Sayuri. As Sayuri learn to become a full geisha with Mameha, she finds a lot of enemies and struggle to find love.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)

There are many fiction best sells book have been made to movie, and one of my favorite is The Hunger Games. The story itself is really nice and I am so glad that the movie of part one hasn't disappointing their fans. It was well organized and the main actors and actress did a good job in bringing the characters alive.
Actions and the background music are lovely. I am happy to see that the movie has successfully alive most of the remarkable scenes in the book.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is basically continue to the last part, is about the main character Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

The hangover Part III 2013

I look forward for The Hangover Part III, do you guys still remember the crazy bachelor party in Las Vegas and Stu's wedding in Thailand?




This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the
Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off. In the aftermath of the death of Alan's father, the wolfpack decide to take Alan to get treated for his mental issues. But things start to go wrong on the way to the hospital as the wolfpack is assaulted and Doug is kidnapped. Now they must find Mr. Chow again in order to surrender him to the gangster who kidnapped Doug in order to save him.

Iron Man 3

Tony stark has came back with new appearance of his iron clothes, he will faced the enemy with high biotech technology. Good story line of the movie and action within will made us to rate 7/10..

Aftershock (2010) 

On the one hand, the Great Tangshan Earthquake of 1976 in China took a huge number of people' life. On the other hand, a family had been separated as a result of the incident. It is a dramatic scene for a mother to choose only one child who will be rescued, her daughter or her son. Eventually, she choose to save her son due to Asian normally loves son over daughter. Afterwards, the mother lives in desperate. Fortunately, her daughter is still alive and is adopted by a family. However, after the shock of not to be chosen, she makes no effort to find back her mother and her brother. Let's watch the movie to see how hard the sister has lived after that earthquake and her feeling of being abandoned. I rate this movie at 8/10. Hope you will like it.

In Time

Every one have time limit. Time is currency, rich people use time to try to be immortal, while the poor have to beg, borrow and steal. Some people have to die for the rich to be immortal. Will Salas, come from the poor background, lost his mother because they don’t have enough time and one day he help a man that his time is a hundred years and that man give his hundred years to Will, after he give his hundred years to Will, he then died. Will now have a hundred years, he then escape to the rich society where he want to bring the system down where time is money. Together with Silvia, the daughter of a millionaire-time loaning businessman, Phillip Weis, they try to crash the system by robbing the time bank and the poor finally have enough time to lower the time zone and make the end of the inequality between the rich and the poor. Because no one can live forever.

The only Bollywood film I ever watched- 3 Idiots

I watched this movie 2 years ago, and I have review it during the first day of my semester holiday, I guess I would never be bored by it. This is the only Bollywood movie I ever watched, as expected, there are many singing and dancing scenes, it's what people call the Bollywood style, some people found it kind of unrealistic, but I think it's pretty fun. Besides it's really amused, the more important thing is the message behind the movie is really meaningful, that's why I decided to recommend to all of you.

3 Idiots is a 2009 Indian comedy-drama film, it's about Two friends are searching for their long lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as the rest of the world called them "idiots". This movie encourage people should chase their dreams and follow their heart, this will make our life so much easier. Only those who is passionate on what he is doing can reach the top because they learn not only for the exam, but because they are interested to know more. And instead of reading textbook and trying to achieve high marks in exams, it's more important that we adopted the knowledge and can perform it in our daily life.

This film inspired me that being call by Idiots doesn't mean that you cannot be successful. In the real world, people always think of being rich, having a nice house or car, buying all the luxury products are the ways to define if a person is successful or not. However, for me, I think if someone is doing things that they really passionate for, even they got paid less, but the happiness they got is unbeatable, I see them as successful. This film is really encouraging and positive.

Oblivion 2013

Oblivion is science fiction movie with the same director from tron legacy and rise of the planet of the apes, this movie talks about Jack Harber (TOM Cruise) is the repairman for drone that protect the center of hydraulic machine in the earth. The shoot of this movie taken on United States and Iceland, with the authentic place that feels like in the space,.. Rate for this movie about 6/10.. Just watch it and mark it.

[The Amazing Spider-man 2012]

 

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), a high schooler who was abandoned by his parents leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be one he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious case belonged to his father, he begins to find out his disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's partner. Then everything needs to happen happened and makes him become a hero. Hope you will enjoy the movie, a real blockbuster.

Tangled (2010)

One day a thief called Flynn Rider, broke into the tower and taken as hostage by Rapunzel which has a long golden hair with magical properties, which is a healing magic and she has been locked up in that tower for years. Then the two make a deal as Flynn need to get out of the tower and Rapunzel always dream to see the light, so Rapunzel ask Flynn to be her guide to see the light. Thus, both of them set on a journey with their companion, cranky but sweet horse and super-protective chameleon, where they discover their true self and love.

The coming back of the monsters!! Monsters University 2013

Do you still remember this inseparable pair,Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan?  Two adorable characters from Monsters,Inc.(2001) It is my favorite cartoon in my childhood !

After 12 years, this winter, they return from the "Monster University", showing how this inseparable pair, from the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. And the "Monsters University" unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became BFF.

[The Croods Review] 

The cartoon took place in prehistoric times and it is all about the first family road trip EVER. It does not feature much amount of laughs for those grown ups; however, it is a good choice for you to watch at the movie theatre with your family including children. It is recommended to watch in 3D version since it will give you a gorgeous tour to ancient world.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation

 

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is the continuation movie from G.I. Joe the rise of cobra, this movie was firstly released on March 28,2013. G.I. Joe come back to the mission to steal the nuclear warhead from Pakistan, after they back and succeed for the mission, the army camp for G.I. Joe attacked by cobra and almost all of their team died suddenly. Zarten one of the cobra partner was disguising as the US president.The movie was totally full in lived action that might attract your interest, the weakness of the movie is some part of the movie is not connected to sequel. We would like to rate 6/10 for this movie.
